CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION, HOSTING, AND ONGOING SUPPORT

A business-to-business company's marketing team needed to create a customer contact database to identify and manage sales opportunities for their global sales organization. This team contacted Majec Systems for expertise with the planning and design of a database including all tools for data aggregation and cleansing. Beyond the initial project, the Majec team provided the client with a variety of enhancements over an eight-year period and provided interactive forms to their public website to support offers, events, and requests for information.

This web browser-based application includes a series of administrative pages where marketing personnel can maintain the customer contact information that is created from forms-based data gathered on the public web site, at educational and marketing forums, online events, and various other sources where the client's customers and prospective customers interact with the client.

The application has several levels of security access to the pages so they can be used by supervisors to generate audiences for targeted marketing campaigns and by data integrity teams to edit, merge and consolidate files when new prospect and customer information is discovered.

An automated notification system was designed and implemented for generating sales leads based on web visitor behavior. Since this contact information is confidential, these web pages are password protected and not available for public access.

In addition to the design and implementation of the web sites and databases, the scope of this project included Majec Systems purchasing, configuring, and hosting the client's SQL Server-based database and websites.

The client's staff relied on the Majec team as virtual team members to successfully build and support the back end of a success customer contact management system.
