AUTOMATED MARKETING CAMPAIGN DESIGN AND EXECUTION SITE

One of the challenges for any business is getting people to learn about and want your product and services. Marketing communications plays a critical role in creating awareness, interest, and preference, which in turn lead to purchase decisions.

EMC Co-op Marketing ProgramIn 2000, the Majec team developed the EMC Empower Co-op Marketing on-line tools which supported a marketing agency's need to provide their clients a way to design their own advertising campaigns. The site facilitated a secure, client log in process. The client is led through a series of web pages where this user would specify elements of their campaign such as types of media (brochures, postcards, newspaper), specific layout options (3-fold, half-page), key messages, photos and images, and the intended target audience for the marketing campaign.

When the client navigates the campaign elements and submits their campaign, information about them and their selections is also stored in the database and an email notification is sent to one of the marketing agency's account managers who can follow up on the execution of the marketing campaign. The solution includes administrative web pages to allow the marketing agency team to add, modify, or delete available campaign elements such as media, layout types, and images.

The site was developed with Active Server-based web pages which are driven and fully interact with an SQL Server database back end.
